Ashley Parker Heads to the Washington Post and the White House Beat

As Inauguration Day inches closer, news outlets are staffing up and filling out their White House reporting teams. Today, the Washington Post announced that Ashley Parker will join their White House team on January 3, 2017. Ashley joins the Post after 11 years working for the New York Times. She got her start at the Times as a research assistant over a decade ago, and recently covered Donald Trump on the campaign trail.

Ashley is a seasoned reporter who also wrote for the Huffington Post, Glamour, and Washingtonian among others. Prior to her career as a reporter, she went to the University of Pennsylvania. She hails from Bethesda, MD.
