Dan Pfeiffer, long-time communications aide to President Obama, is joining CNN as a contributor, the network announced. Pfeiffer started with Obama in 2007, served as the communications director for the 2008 Obama campaign and then the White House before being named White House senior adviser for strategy and communications. With Pfeiffer, CNN is adding a voice with deep roots in Democratic politics and plenty of presidential campaign experience as the 2016 election approaches. More here.
