Buzzfeed will bolster its political coverage by hiring two new reporters: Lissandra Villa and Alexis Levinson. Villa, currently a politics reporter with NPR, will be a general assignment reporter and will start at the end of the month. Levinson, currently a senior political reporter for National Review, will report on House Republicans and will start after the election.

Buzzfeed’s D.C. Managing Editor Kate Nocera praised the new hires: “Alexis has done amazing work this cycle breaking news and covering important moments in the campaign.
