Seven Letter is hiring a content specialist to support a wide range of client accounts. The ideal candidate is someone who is comfortable in a fast-paced, collaborative work environment, consistently generates creative, strategic ideas to advance client goals, possesses strong written and oral skills, and can effectively manage multiple demanding projects simultaneously. The successful applicant must also be unafraid of media outreach, detail oriented, experienced in the professional use of digital and social media, comfortable being in consistent direct communication with clients, and have an understanding of the media and political landscapes. Qualifications: 

  • Demonstrated hands-on experience in a communications role in an applicable environment: in-house, agency, political or advocacy campaign, or local, state or federal government;
  • Skilled in media landscape analysis, crafting and executing media pitches, and developing and maintaining strong relationships with key media contacts across multiple verticals;
  • Experienced in content development for the professional use of digital and social media channels. Basic web editing (WordPress) and graphic design skills encouraged; and
  • Excellent track record developing high-quality written materials, including: Press materials, fact sheets, talking points, statements, strategic memos, PowerPoint presentations, opinion editorials and social content.
