Carly Coakley

Prior to joining Blue Engine, Carly Coakley worked as a teacher with Teach for America in Charlotte, N.C. for two years. While teaching seventh grade science, Carly was chairwoman of the Albemarle Middle School Science Department and was selected to be a Teach for America Corps Member Ambassador. As a Corps Member Ambassador, Carly established afterschool childcare and literacy programs to engage parents, students and community leaders about bridging the achievement gap.

Carly holds a B.S. in Information, Communication and Technology from Florida State University and is the recipient of the 2013 Overall Student Leadership Award and the Overall Community Service Award.
