Catherine Adamchak directs all financial and operational initiatives for Blue Engine + JDA including financial management, paid media placement, human resources, legal and contractual issues, accounting, and recruiting for the firm. Catherine also serves as Controller for the firm’s coalition clients, taking part in strategic management of advocacy coalition groups, including the historic Even the Score national coalition in 2014 and 2015.

In her time at Blue Engine, Catherine has revamped financial and operational protocols for the firm, streamlining processes and using data to help guide the firm as it continues through a period of growth.  In 2015, Catherine also played a leading role in the planning and execution of the first-ever TEDxPennsylvaniaAvenue, held at DC’s Newseum.

Catherine has a breadth of knowledge in large-scale event management and political operations, and brought that experience to Blue Engine after serving the Obama-Biden re-election effort from 2011 through the 57th Inauguration in 2013. From June 2011 through September 2012, Catherine was a member of the staff of the Democratic National Convention Committee. She played a role in generating national and international media coverage of President Obama’s second nominating convention as a Media Logistics Manager. In that position, she coordinated coverage needs, including credentials, workspace, housing, and technology infrastructure, to members of the Print, Periodical, Radio & Television, and Photography Congressional Press Galleries. Following the Convention in September of 2012 through Election Day in November, Catherine served the reelection campaign in New Hampshire where she helped to coordinate multiple Presidential campaign rallies. Catherine went on to serve the Presidential Inaugural Committee as the Deputy Director for Tickets, where she oversaw the production and distribution of over 120,000 tickets for all official Inaugural events.

From July 2007 until June 2011, Catherine was the Manager of Legislative and Political Affairs at Jolly/Rissler, Inc., a boutique legislative affairs firm that focused on financial services, healthcare and educational services, based in Washington, DC.

Catherine has a B.A. in Public Relations and History from Syracuse University in Syracuse, NY.
