David Di Martino

Founding Partner

David is a seasoned communications professional with 20 years of experience advising non-profit, political, advocacy and corporate clients on messaging, media, communications, and strategy.

David has worked at the highest levels of national politics and public policy, having held senior positions on several campaigns and the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee and during 15 years in the U.S. Senate and U.S. House of Representatives.

As a Founding Partner at Seven Letter, David provides professional senior counsel to an array of clients on an expansive set of public policy and public affairs matters. Before joining Seven Letter, David was a Partner at Blue Engine Message & Media, which merged with JDA Frontline in 2018 to form Seven Letter. David is also founder of DD Media, and before that, co-founded Blue Line Strategic Communications. In those leadership positions, he managed public affairs campaigns and coalitions for leading environmental and public health groups, financial services industry companies, high tech firms, clean tech organizations, and sports and entertainment groups.


David was named one of National Journal’s 100 “Political Insiders,” is an occasional television and print political commentator, and is an associate member of the National Press Club in Washington, DC.


David holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of New Hampshire.  He thinks there is no distance too far to travel for a Rolling Stones show or to accompany his daughters to see Taylor Swift live. A native of Boston, David enjoys sports, especially the Boston Bruins and the New England Patriots, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
