Laurie Rossbach is a senior communications professional with nearly two decades of experience in strategic planning, public affairs, media relations, and issues and image management. As Managing Director at Blue Engine +JDA, Laurie works to help clients achieve important business successes through strategic communications efforts.

Prior to Blue Engine + JDA, Laurie established Rossbach Consulting to provide select clients with public affairs, communications and media relations consulting services. As a Director in Burson-Marsteller’s Public Affairs practice, Laurie led and supported numerous campaigns ranging from a global industry defense on legislative and regulatory fronts to a regional emergency preparedness public awareness campaign funded by the Department of Homeland Security.

Previously, Laurie served in increasing roles of responsibility at Edelman in Washington, where she managed media relations and communications for initiatives as diverse as a reputation enhancement program for Girl Scouts of the USA, communications outreach for Fujifilm during the Fuji-Kodak Section 301 trade dispute and a defense manufacturer’s successful bid to continue as the sole manufacturer and supporter of a family of tactical vehicles for the U.S. Army. At ICF Consulting, Laurie provided social marketing and communications consulting for government and energy clients.
