Political reporter and podcaster Harry Enten will join the CNN Politics team as a senior political reporter and analyst, appearing both on air and online. He currently holds a similar role at FiveThirtyEight.

Enten was named the “Whiz Kid” of the next generation of political journalists by the Columbia Journalism Review (CJR) for his 2016 election coverage. CJR described him as a journalist “whose facility for interpreting polling data, combining it with demographics and historical precedents, and communicating his conclusions precisely and accessibly inspires envy in slower-moving, more numerically-challenged thinkers.”
