Brooke Minters has been named POLITICO’s executive producer for video.

In an email to staff, POLITICO editor Carrie Budoff Brown announced the addition of Minters saying, “Brooke will be taking charge of our video strategy across the newsroom, from news and enterprise to Magazine and Pro.” Minters will join video producers Beatrice Peterson and Reena Flores and lead an upcoming expansion of the video team.

Minters joins POLITICO from Gizmodo Media Group, where she oversaw video strategy for outlets such as Splinter, Jezebel, The Root, Lifehacker and Deadspin. She also did video work for Fusion and AJ+.
