Reporter and anchor Bianna Golodryga is joining two networks in an unusual arrangement that allows her to report for CBS shows and serve as a CNN contributor simultaneously.

In her new role at CBS, Golodryga will serve as a substitute anchor for “CBS This Morning,” with specific attention on news related to Russia’s interference in the 2016 presidential election.

Golodryga, who was born in the former Soviet Union, began her reporting career in 2001 as a bureau producer for CNBC and served as the news and finance anchor for Yahoo News. Additionally, she co-anchored ABC’s weekend edition of “Good Morning America” for seven years and served as the network’s business correspondent. She brings a wealth of experience having interviewed former President Bill Clinton, former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and investor Warren Buffet.

A Houston native, Golodryga filed her first story for “CBS This Morning” on the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey. In a heartfelt tweet, Golodryga shared how meaningful it was to start her new journey with CBS from her hometown of Houston.
