WMUR-TV’s political director has joined The Boston Globe as a political reporter to focus on the 2016 primaries. He will retain a relationship with WMUR-TV as an on-air political analyst. The Globe’s Senior Deputy Managing Editor Jennifer Peter said in a memo: “I’m thrilled to announce that James Pindell, the premiere authority on the New Hampshire presidential primary, will be joining the Globe as a digital-first political reporter and playing a key role in our effort to augment our coverage of the first-in-the-nation contest.” The Washington Post has referred to Pindell as the “Insider’s Insider” for covering New Hampshire politics.
