BuzzFeed News has added John Hudson, formerly of Foreign Policy, as foreign affairs correspondent. Hudson recently covered personnel appointments in President Trump’s administration, as well as the controversial trip to Syria by Hawaii Representative Tulsi Gabbard.

Hudson has reported from Ukraine, Pakistan, Malaysia, China and Georgia during his time with Foreign Policy, but his new beat at BuzzFeed may keep him in D.C. Hudson will report on the State Department, U.S. diplomacy and America’s relationship with the world. He starts at BuzzFeed on April 4th.
