Jay Carney, former White House press secretary who left the podium in May of this year, is set to join CNN as a political commentator just in time for the President’s statement about ISIS and ahead of the November midterm elections. Carney’s experience in the White House will no doubt add a unique perspective to CNN’s coverage of politics going forward.
