Gabriel Sherman is moving to Vanity Fair, following nine years at New York Magazine, most recently as a contributing editor. Sherman will be a special correspondent for Vanity Fair and contribute to its news site The Hive, which covers business, politics, tech, and media.

Sherman is known for his coverage of Fox News and Roger Ailes, publishing on the topic a book called The Loudest Voice in the Room in 2014.

He announced the move in a tweet and was congratulated by his colleagues.
