After five years at POLITICO, Hadas Gold is joining CNN to cover European politics, media and business. At POLITICO, she covered the intersection between politics and media.

POLITICO’s editor Peter Canellos congratulated her in an email to the newsroom, writing, “This is a unique and exciting opportunity for Hadas… All of her skills will be put to use as she moves beyond the media beat to explore European politics.”

Gold announced her move in a tweet and will start on August 21.
