POLITICO adds Jason Schwartz to cover the media. Schwartz joins POLITICO after serving as senior editor for ESPN The Magazine and ESPN.com.

POLITICO editor Carrie Budoff Brown shared the move in a staff email saying, “Jason will join with Hadas Gold in covering the rapidly changing media scene, as Washington outlets adjust their focus and missions to meet the challenges of the Trump era.”

Prior to joining ESPN, Schwartz covered politics, business, education and sports as the senior editor at Boston Magazine and for its Boston Daily website. He also uncovered why the Red Sox pitcher Curt Schilling failed in his attempt to build a video game empire in an investigative piece.
