Congressional reporter Jeff Stein is leaving Vox for Wonkblog, the Washington Post policy and politics blog. According to the Post, Stein will cover “the biggest policy debates of the day.”

Before joining Vox in 2016, Stein was as a crime reporter for the Syracuse Post-Standard. He won the New York State Associated Press award for spot news reporting and the Associated Press’s young journalist of the year award before leaving in 2014 to found The Ithaca Voice. Most recently, he’s reported on conflicts-of-interest in the Trump cabinet and the on-going healthcare debate.

Stein will start at Wonkblog on November 20.
