Joe Pompeo is set to join Vanity Fair as a senior media correspondent for its business news site Hive. Pompeo is currently senior media reporter for Politico and author of its Morning Media newsletter.

Pompeo originally came to Politico in 2013 after the site had purchased the outlet Capitol New York and will continue to report on issues relating to media and politics at the Hive. Pompeo has also written for Yahoo News, Business Insider and The New York Observer.

Jon Kelly, editor of the Hive, welcomed Pompeo to the team. Pompeo is scheduled to start July 17th.
