Mike Memoli will be joining NBC News as a national political reporter, a role in which he will appear across all NBC platforms including MSNBC, according to a report from Politico’s media reporter Hadas Gold.

Memoli is coming to NBC after seven years of covering politics and the White House for the Los Angeles Times’ D.C. bureau.

No stranger to NBC News, Memoli previously worked as an embed at the network from 2007 and 2008.
