Domenico Montanaro, a veteran of NBC News and currently the political editor and senior producer for PBS NewsHour will soon become NPR’s lead editor for politics and digital audience and join their Washington desk. Montanaro covered two presidential campaigns while at NBC – which earned him a share of one Emmy award and another nomination – and has overseen all domestic political coverage on air and online for NewsHour for the last year.
