POLITICO Adds State Coverage, New Magazine Editor

With Jeb Bush’s presidential announcement widely-expected and Florida Senator Marco Rubio another potential contender, POLITICO launched its state-based Florida coverage by hiring the Miami Herald’s political writer, Marc Caputo.  Caputo will be based in Florida – a perennial swing state – and write a daily Florida Playbook.  In addition to Caputo, POLITICO announced that Garret Graff, the former editor in chief of The Washingtonian, will take the helm of POLITICO Magazine as its editor.  He takes over for Blake Hounshell and Susan Glasser who were recently promoted.
