POLITICO Expands White House Team with the Addition of Christopher Cadelago

02.21.18

Political reporter Christopher Cadelago is moving across the country to join POLITICO’s White House team. Over the last four years with the Sacramento Bee, Cadelago covered Governor Jerry Brown, Senator Kamala Harris, and the ongoing governor’s race. He also reported for the San Diego Union-Tribune, Los Angeles Times and San Francisco Chronicle.

After he announced the move on Twitter, POLITICO’s Editor Carrie Budoff Brown called Cadelago “a scoop artist” who is “a classic POLITICO reporter” in a note to staff.  California Playbook co-authors Dave Siders and Carla Marinucci praised Cadelago’s reporting saying, “On any given day, he produces so many great stories, I suspect he’s almost an alien.”

He starts at POLITICO in March.
