With the 2016 presidential election nearing its start, POLITICO is wasting no time in setting up its campaign newsroom. Long-time POLITICO correspondent and currently senior writer at POLITICO Magazine, Glenn Thrush has been named chief political correspondent and will play a significant role in POLITICO’s 2016 coverage. Thrush will start right away as chief political correspondent and will host a podcast on the 2016 race called “Off Message.” Thrush covered the Clinton campaign in 2008 for POLITICO and has also worked for Bloomberg and Newsday.
