Seung Min Kim joins Washington Post’s White House team in Newly Created Role

Congressional correspondent Seung Min Kim will join the Washington Post’s White House team, taking on a newly created position as a White House correspondent based on Capitol Hill. Prior to the Post, Seung Min spent eight years at POLITICO.

The Post’s National Editor Steven Ginsberg, Deputy National Editor Lori Montgomery, Senior Politics Editor Peter Wallsten and White House Editor Dan Eggen announced Seung Min’s hire and described her new role to staff saying, “she will focus on the relationship between President Trump and Congress, capturing the key personalities, policies and other forces at the intersection of the executive and legislative branches.”

While at POLITICO, Seung Min previously covered the Senate leadership, including battles over immigration, taxes, and the Supreme Court.

She officially joins the Post on February 26th.
