Two New Hires Help to Increase Digital and Media Relations Expertise

Seven Letter, a full-service bipartisan strategic communications firm with offices in Washington and Boston, today announced the addition of Robin Calleja and Kelcey McClung to its growing team of communicators. The news of Calleja and McClung joining the team comes shortly after the firm announced the hiring of Blair Taylor as Managing Director and Maura Hogan as Senior Director.

“Storytelling is the foundation of our firm’s work. Whether through crises, brand opportunities or legislative and regulatory battles, we find the most effective ways to tell and amplify our clients’ stories. Robin and Kelcey are excellent storytellers,” said founding partner David Di Martino. “Their expertise with digital platforms and earned media will benefit all of Seven Letter’s clients.”

A published writer, Calleja comes to Seven Letter shortly after earning her Master of Arts in Communication, Culture, and Technology from Georgetown University, where she conducted and published research on new and traditional media, popular culture, and political discourse. Prior to pursuing graduate studies, Robin worked as a teacher and supported Filipino Americans for Biden-Harris during the 2020 election cycle as a digital communication specialist, where she expanded the organization’s social media reach and engagement through creative and interactive digital content.

McClung began her career in journalism, working as a reporter for the Denver Business Journal after studying journalism, political science, and history at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. During her time as a reporter, she covered commercial real estate and tracked major developments and growth in the Denver metropolitan region. Prior to joining Seven Letter, she worked for the United States Global Leadership Coalition, a nonprofit advocating for a strong International Affairs Budget, where she planned and executed events with Members of Congress, Cabinet Officials, high-level agency staff, and other influential stakeholders in the DC foreign policy community.

Both Robin Calleja and Kelcey McClung will work as Managers in Seven Letter’s Washington, D.C. office.
